The Nobel Prizes

As you know probably, every year some awards are given to those people who did or have done some work in explorations about any issue. Those prizes that I'm talking about  are called "The Nobel Prizes".
There are many types of awards inside the Nobel Prizes such as: Peace, Economics, Politics,...
I have decided to write about The Noble Prizes, and the topic and the year  I have chosen is: The Nobel Prize of Peace of the year 2012!

A good example of the Peace Award is  a great and famous ex-president of South Africa, man called Nelson Mandela.
The main reason for giving him the award in the year 1993 was that he wanted a world without racial discrimination  , in other words, he wanted a world of equality, justice and fairness.

In the year 2012 the Nobel award of Peace was given to the E.U,  for over six decades contributed to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe.

In the inter-war years, the Norwegian Nobel Committee made several awards to persons who were seeking reconciliation between Germany and France. Since 1945, that reconciliation has become a reality. The dreadful suffering in World War II demonstrated the need for a new Europe. Over a seventy-year period, Germany and France had fought three wars. Today war between Germany and France is unthinkable. This shows how, through well-aimed efforts and by building up mutual confidence, historical enemies can become close partners.

In the 1980s, Greece, Spain and Portugal joined the EU. The introduction of democracy was a condition for their membership. The fall of the Berlin Wall made EU membership possible for several Central and Eastern European countries, thereby opening a new era in European history. The division between East and West has to a large extent been brought to an end; democracy has been strengthened; many ethnically-based national conflicts have been settled.

The admission of Croatia as a member next year, the opening of membership negotiations with Montenegro, and the granting of candidate status to Serbia all strengthen the process of reconciliation in the Balkans. In the past decade, the possibility of EU membership for Turkey has also advanced democracy and human rights in that country.

The EU is currently undergoing grave economic difficulties and considerable social unrest. The Norwegian Nobel Committee wishes to focus on what it sees as the EU's most important result: the successful struggle for peace and reconciliation and for democracy and human rights. The stabilizing part played by the EU has helped to transform most of Europe from a continent of war to a continent of peace.

The work of the EU represents "fraternity between nations", and amounts to a form of the "peace congresses" to which Alfred Nobel refers as criteria for the Peace Prize in his 1895 will.

Homenage to our friend Mariano

Hello readers, today I bring you a Project which I have just been working and I have  finished.

I recorded and edited an homenage that we did the previous month. Since one of our friends died during the Summer Holidays near the Portugal.

As soon as we knew it , we decided to make an homenage , with the aim of remember him and at least to show the world  that we don't forget about the people who comes to our school, becomes or friend and suddenly (s)he disappears.

There's another reason of why I have published this video here.  Mariano was known here and obliously in his own town. But if I didn't published this here, he wouldn't be known of all of you. And I want to know what  you opine about the homenage, also if you don't understand the language.

And please comment it. The comments will be very helpful for the next video that I going to publish in a close future.

Social Web pages used nowadays

Today I've brought you a new topic that I'm sure you will enjoy it. I've written you about the most popular Social Pages used nowadays.

Nowadays everybody who uses Internet over the cellular or over the computer  should have an account on some page like Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, Gmail, etc for working or just for communicating with  friends.

If you still don't have one in some of them now I'm going to convince you to get at least one.

 So, let's start with Twitter.

Twitter is an online social networking and micro blogging service that enables users to send and read "tweets", which are text messages limited to 140 characters. Registered users can read and post tweets but unregistered users can only read them.
In Twitter everybody is going to be able to read and see everything that you tweet: Tweets, pictures, videos, etc, .  That will change if you make your profile "private".

Facebook  is a page where people uses for working and for communicating. Over Facebook you also have the opportunity of meeting people who you didn't know and possibly you wouldn't know ever unless you do an account.

This option is good, if you utilize with good intentions, but don't accept any strange foreing invitation. There is people who send friendship invitations with bad intentions.
On the other hand, Facebook is very useful is like a mix of Twitter and Tuenti. As, you can post what you are doing in like over Twitter and you can make your account totally safe like in Tuenti.

Tuenti is another social web page were you can poste pictures , states and more. Tuenti is being used a lot by teens. You are able to chat, send private menssages, and also to make group conversations!

It's a social App that everybody who has a Smartphone uses nowadays. It has many advantages, such as: you send "whats "to your friends and they can receive the "whats" even if they are not connected, and that's another
good aspect; you can't disconnect of WhatsApp unless you are in a not Internet area. (In that ocation you won't be able to send or receive messages).
You can make groups until 50 persons, and we have to add that it doesn't have a limited option of characteristics like in Twitter. Your friends can send you pictures, videos, sounds and you can download or not , that's another option.

Line. Line works exactly like WhatsApp . In WhatsApp you have to Pay 0,80 € per year, whereas Line is totally free.

Skype is another social web page where you can make video calls to friends or work personal of all around the world. This page also gives you the opportunity to send messages.

Snap chat. It's an app which you can use if you have a smartphone with a frontal camera. As, the app works like this: You take a frontal photograph, you write an email below it and you send to your friend. When (s)he opens the message (s)he would see it for 5 seconds , later your picture will be automatically deleted and your friend would take a photograph of her/his and would send you. All the time works like that.

Traveling Around The World

Hello readers ! In this post I'm going to write and give some knowledge about traveling around the world , specially the places that I've been to.

Some places are really beautiful to know ,  just because of their history, the language or the religion ..., some places can be dangerous just because they are in war, but you should know that every country has its pretty place for tourists.
For Instance I can't tell you how pretty  Syria is, because I haven't been there.

But on the other hand, I can recommend you the U.S or the U.K. Both of them are good for learning English ,  because their official language is English. Apart from the language and looking to the United Kingdom I can say that Britain is a beautiful place to spend some days, specially the capital London.
London is very beautiful for many reasons: The first one is that London is an old city, which means that it has many old buildings so, it could be a good place to visit  for those people who love the old cities.
The second reason is that it's a very touristy city. There are some buildings that are really beautiful like: The Westminster Palace ,the British Parliament meeting place, which has a huge tower called The Big Ben .
The UK Parliament

That tower is a little bit  leaned over like the Pisa's famous tower. For example,  The Big Ben helps  to the majority of the citizens to know what time it is. If you need more information click here

The Trafalgar Square

I can also say that London has a lot of beautiful squares with their museums, like the Trafalgar Square with the National Art Gallery for instance. If you are interested in going to the National Art Gallery, and if you want to know more of it before click here.

Looking at the U.S, I can say that  it's a great country to spend a month learning English ,meeting new people and having a great time with them.
I only have been one month in the huge city of  Washington State , Seattle.
Seattle City , WA

The main city is very beautiful for people like me, who loves the tall sky-crappers, the Starbucks, and the cities with old parts which appear in  Hollywood's movies.

I'm sure that  spending a whole year in the U.S it's a great idea. But I recommend you to spend one   month, like July because it is  enough.

In July you can enjoy  some activities like  the 4th of July (when the U.S was separated from the U.K). So on the day before that , and the main day, almost all the American families buy fireworks and burn them. (Only it's legal to burn fireworks on the 4th of July, so if you want to burn some on the 3rd, it's a good idea to have a friend who has a huge property or some big private place to burn fireworks and not to  disturb other peaceful people , otherwise you may have law problems).
American Eagle in the American Flag

The 4th of July is very beautiful, because when you go out you'll see American little flags held in the roofs, huge American flags held in both parts of the road,...( And specially if you are a student and if you are with a family, you will buy a lot of fireworks and burn them in your own yard!)
I can guarantee that you are going to enjoy it a lot !
It's a great opportunity to make friends too!

American people are very nice you'll have great times with them, they will help you every moment and its a good option to take some Facebook for the way back home to don't loose the relationship with them. And maybe one day they will come to your house , who knows!

I've been in Switzerland too. It's a country surrounded by the Alps range. And that means that every time you are going to have mountains all around you. There's no best season to go to Switzerland. The country is beautiful all around the year : In Winter you can practice the skying sport. In Spring you can present the Ice-snow melting. In summer, you can enjoy of the alps mountains in paragliding, walking in the valleys or fishing. And if you don't like doing sport maybe you will like Zurich or Berna, both of them are very beautiful.

The Basque Country
But if you are looking for some place which has: Nice people, enough place to practise sports , gastronomy , history, culture and cities, the best choice is to come to the Basque Country, in the north corner of the Spanish peninsula.
